’t Leeg Huys = low laying house (slang)

This refers to the location of the house, namely low behind the dike of the IJzer, who separates the ‘broeken’ (marshes) from the polders.

Area 5 ha.
On the domain there’s a villa (year of construction 2004) with a duck pond, reptile pond and several poultry farms. About ten female red deer live on a walled field and in June they take care of just as much young animals, which brighten up the whole domain with their frolics.
Private garden with sycamores that cast shadows on the big terrace, which is surrounded by an orchard (illuminated in the evening). Garden furniture for 18 people, BBQ, sun bathing area.

Through the parking past the reptile pond to the terrace (150 m²). The terrace is provided with tables and chairs for 18 people with the possibility to barbecue. In the evening the illuminated sycamores create a fairy-like atmosphere. Sculptures of various artists enrich the scenery.
